About Food For Life Vrindavan (FFLV)

Food for Life Vrindavan (FFLV) is a humanitarian association, NGO (non government organisation), officially recognised by the Indian Government. For the last 10 years, Food For Life Vrindavan has worked in the poorest villages in the Vrindavan area (120 km south on the Delhi - Agra highway).

Mission:

FFLV is dedicated to the poorest of the poor, especially women and girls,  educating and guiding them in pursuance of a fulfilling life, enabling them to become exemplary members of society. FFLV is also dedicated to protecting and developing Vrindavan's natural environment.

Our work includes:

• Educational services for disadvantaged children

• Environmental projects

• Food distribution

• Medical assistance

• Vocational training courses for women

• Adult education

• Self-help groups

• Micro-credits

• Drilling wells for drinking water

• Assistance for elderly and disabled

• Distribution of clothes.

Our administration costs are kept to minimum (below 10%) thanks to many volunteers who offer free services in Vrindavan and in our offices all over the world.

Gift of Hope Trust Ltd is a official UK partner for Food For Life Vrindavan. It is registered with Companies House and an officially registered charity -number 1081796, registered company number 03885635.

Our primary aim in the UK is to raise funds for our Indian partner, Food For Life Vrindavan Society.

99% of the funds that we raise from donors are donated directly to Food For Life Vrindavan Society.
